Joni Janz Peterson

Support Team Manager, Technology Solutions

Joni worked at Allegiance as client services coordinator from 1997 to 2000 and rejoined the Allegiance team in 2013. She also worked as director of development at Plains Art Museum, development director at FirstLink, and as member services manager at Prairie Public. Having used Allegiance Software for 31 years, Joni believes “it is an essential tool to maximize fundraising programs.”

Role at Company

As Support Team Manager, Joni manages our Support Engineers to help ensure a commitment to great customer service and solving issues are a top priority.

What excites you about your work at AFG?

Working with a great team that supports and develops products to help the public broadcasting sector and fundraisers accomplish their goals.

If you weren’t at AFG, what would you be doing?

Spending more time at the lake and on the golf course! Traveling and watching MN Wild hockey.

What are your hobbies/interests outside AFG?

Golf, gardening, reading, wine tasting/collecting. I also train at Maximum Performance and Fitness working at improved overall health and fitness!

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a grandma to 7 grandchildren, soon to be 8 in September!

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Camping with family and friends. The safety and freedoms of growing up in a small rural North Dakota town.
